She's a winner! (Yes, that was tacky)

Ok, I know that Reese Witherspoon is getting some flack for her Oscar dress and the fact that it doesn't display 93% of her body, but
A) Reese Witherspoon is always gorgeous. She would be if she was wearing a garbage bag.
B) The color (lack of color?) is amazing on her, and
C) OH YEAH, it's a 1955 Christian Dior.
I love vintage for many reasons, but even if the dress is slightly imperfect (which I don't think it is), isn't it just much cooler to wear something with a story than a sterile silk charmeuse column gown that everyone will have on? I think so.

Of course, I'm also a big Dior fan, so I have a bias. Typing "vintage dior" into an eBay search yields many wonderful things. . .
